The Royal Decree 244/2019, of April 5, regulates the administrative, technical and economic conditions for the self-consumption of electrical energy and opens the door for you to produce and consume your own 100% green energy.
This regulation is part of the European strategy, which identifies 3 pillars in its energy policy: citizen empowerment, renewable energies and energy efficiency.

You have 2 modes of SELF-CONSUMPTION:
1) Self-consumption without surpluses: the facility only allows you to consume what you produce.
2) Self-consumption with surpluses: the installation allows you to consume what you produce and, if production is greater than consumption, to pour the surplus into the electricity power grid and be compensated.
You will need to have the corresponding contract with your electrical company of choice.

Additionally, if you wish, you can incorporate a storage battery that stores electrical energy that you are producing but not consuming during the day.
